Stitch guide
- Single Crochet Stitch (sc): insert hook into stitch, pull through 1 loop (leaving 2 loops on the hook), yarn over, pull through both loops
- Bobble Stitch (bob): yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through 1 loop (leaving 3 loops on the hook), yarn over, pull through two loops, repeat process 3 more times (4 total), until you have 5 loops on the hook. Pull through all 5 loops.
- sc2tog/ sc3tog: insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop. From there, insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook. (For sc3tog, do one more stitch and pull through all loops on hook)
- Color changing (optional!): If you would like to change colors during your bobble stitches, in the sc before you begin a bobble, pull through the two loops to finish the stitch with your new color, dropping your first color behind the stitches. Then, complete your bobble as normal, but instead of pulling through the 5 loops with your current color, change back to your original color. If there are a series of bobbles in a row, stay with your new color until the final bobble stitch.
The chart
Feel free to increase the size of this pillow by adding rows to above the text and below the text, or to each side of the text by increasing your initial chain length in multiples of 2. (ex, this pattern starts with a ch of 61. To increase, you would increase to 63 or 65).
The pattern is done in two parts, a front panel and a back panel. They are stitched separately and then crocheted together at the end, prior to stuffing the pillow. The ears are made separately and are entirely optional.
You will be working the letters of the text backward with the bobble stitch, which means your first bobble will be the top corner of your “W”, ending with the “M”.
The chain 1 at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch. When making the front panel, the bobble stitches are always made on the right side of your work. The row of single crochet is always the wrong side of your work. The single crochets on either side of your bobble stitches help make the stitch puff outward.
This pattern is written in US terms, for right-handed crocheters.

Joining the pieces
Using the last ch in your back panel, line up with the bottom corner of your front panel, and join the corner by stitching 4 stitches into the last stitch of your back panel and the corner stitch of your front panel.
You should then be working up the side of the pillow. Sc stitch in every row through both the front and back panel (35). In the corner, sc 4 times, then continue along every stitch along the top of the pillow (60). Sc 4 times in the corner, sc in every stitch along the other side of the pillow (35). Sc 4 times in corner, and stitch about 3/4 of the way down the final side of your pillow. Once 3/4 of the way stitched, stuff your pillow with Poly-Fil or stuffing of your choice.
Complete your stitching and once you get back to the corner you started in, tie off. Weave in any loose ends, and you’re done! If you would like to add ears, please continue on in the directions below.

Sew the pink smaller triangles onto two of the larger triangles. Sew the larger triangles together as front and back panels. Measure 3 inches from the edge of the pillow and sew your ears along the top seam. Fasten off and weave in ends.
