Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through 1 loop (leaving 3 loops on the hook), yarn over, pull through two loops. Repeat this process 3 more times (4 total) until you have 5 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops.
Pattern Notes
- This pillow can be resized by:
- Adding rows above and below the text, or
- Increasing the starting chain in multiples of 2 and adding the same number of rows.
- The pillow is made in two parts: a front panel and a back panel.
- Panels are worked separately and crocheted together before stuffing.
- The chain 1 at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch.
- For the front panel:
- Bobble stitches are always worked on even-numbered rows.
- Odd-numbered rows are worked entirely in single crochet.
- The single crochet stitches on either side of each bobble help the stitch puff outward.

Join Together
With your hook still on the last stitch, insert your hook into the bottom corner of the front panel. Insert hook through the next stitch in both the front and back panels and join with a single crochet. Continue across to the corner.
Work 4 single crochets in the corner, turn your work, and continue single crocheting evenly along the side. Work 4 single crochets in the top corner, continue across the top, then work 4 single crochets in the next corner. Stitch about halfway down the final side.
Stuff the pillow to your preferred level of puffiness. Continue stitching down the final side to seal the pillow closed, working 3 single crochets in the final corner.
Tie off and weave in all ends. Voila — you did it.
Yes! Increase your starting chain in multiples of 2 and add the same number of rows, or add rows above and below the text.
